Heshmatoleh Armideh, a veteran actor of cinema and television, explained in a conversation with Mehr reporter about his latest activities: These days, I am busy playing a role in a series called “The Consultant”, which I hope will be broadcast and people will see it. I have had one or two calls to participate in film projects, which have not yet been finalized. Besides these, I like appearing in short films. I have a lot of calls for these movies and I have accepted several jobs to play roles. I’m at an age where any script that’s on the table, there’s probably a role for me. After all, every story has either a father in a family or someone my age is present in it.
He said about his more prominent presence in television works: “The reality is that whatever work is offered to me, regardless of whether it is in cinema, television or even theater, I accept to participate in it, but the conditions of cinema today have become such that there are only a limited number of people. are present in it. The process of producing home series has recently become the same, and it is as if all the actors of one project go to the next project when they finish their work! I don’t know what name can be chosen for this situation and I don’t like titles like “gang game” myself. But we must accept that these conditions exist.
Armideh added: I am still invited to work in TV series, and in my opinion, all these areas are good in their own way. I sometimes have suggestions for film projects. Of course, we should also keep in mind that television has a greater range and influence due to its audience. It is as if all people see your acting. In the home network, recently, the serials are very well received by the audience. I usually get tired of long-term tasks and prefer to be present at shorter-term tasks.
Armideh also said about which of his roles people remember the most: I have had the experience in many series that people saw the role very well. The series “Bewitched” that I played with Mehdi Hashemi or the series “Zamane” by Hassan Fathi created the same situation for me. “Zamane” continues to be broadcast and people have seen more.
