According to the Iran Economist, with the implementation of a three-stage project, the level and quality of services provided to the customers of the Cooperative Development Bank will be improved. Explaining the project, Sheikhzadeh said: “The first part refers to the construction and operation of a data center, which a few years ago the location and construction of three data centers were on the agenda, two data centers as the main units and the other as a backup and They will act supportively.
He added: “The construction and equipping of the first data center has been completed and is in the operation stage, and the important point is that the transfer of information is being carried out in compliance with all aspects and without disrupting the daily activities of the bank.”
According to the Deputy Minister of Planning and Information Technology of the Cooperative Development Bank, the second data center of the bank is in the process of construction and will serve the bank next year. Explaining the second part of digital governance, Sheikhzadeh stated: In order to implement programs and upgrade banking operations, it was necessary to upgrade the bank’s hardware systems or replace some of them. For this purpose, one third of the bank’s computers were replaced and the remaining old computers are being renovated.
He announced: The colleagues of the technology department were also working hard during the corona outbreak. He added: “Due to the arrival of 120 new employees, it was necessary to provide computers for this number of employees, which has also been done. Also, the operating system of all the bank’s computers is being updated, which will increase the level of security.” win.
The Deputy CEO of the Cooperative Development Bank said that the two parts of hardware upgrade and data center construction needed an interface, and the communication network upgrade was defined as a complementary project. He said: “Part of improving the quality of communication network services requires the use of higher bandwidth, which is a good measure in this area, which will improve the speed of banking operations with its implementation.” In the end, Sheikhzadeh said: “With the implementation of this three-stage project, many services will be provided to the customers of the Cooperative Development Bank in the branch space and in the virtual space with higher quality.”
