According to the Fars news agency, the information base of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, the vice president of health and prevention of the country’s veterinary organization said: In this plan, 850 fixed teams and 966 mobile teams of veterinarians carry out health and Islamic supervision of the slaughtering of sacrificed animals throughout the country.

Qasim Rezaiyanzadeh added: These teams consist of 1,165 veterinarians, 1,627 meat health inspectors, and 605 religious slaughter supervisors.

He stated: These veterinary teams, inspection and slaughter supervisors will start their activities from 6 am on the day of Eid al-Adha at the temporary locations of municipal livestock supply, slaughterhouses and authorized livestock supply fields, and will continue until the end of the day in coordination with the veterinary organization and municipalities in these centers. will be present

In the meantime, Rezaiyanzadeh asked the people to avoid slaughtering unidentified animals on the Eid al-Adha day in order to protect their health and the society, and to procure the sacrificed animals from the temporary and authorized livestock supply stations of the municipalities.

Referring to the occurrence of Crimean-Congo fever in the country, he stated: This is a common disease between animals and humans, and its symptoms cannot be detected in animals, and therefore we recommend to prevent the risk of Crimean-Congo fever, the meat of a previous sacrifice. Be sure to keep it in the refrigerator for 24 hours before cutting it into pieces and using it.

The vice president of health and prevention of the country’s veterinary organization stated that ensuring the health of raw animal products is the responsibility of the country’s veterinary organization, and said: if people see health violations, they can submit their reports to the veterinary departments of the cities across the country and the monitoring and inspection teams.
