Important news; The import of household appliances was freed

According to the online economy report, the first vice president announced the circular approved by the Council of Ministers regarding the import license for electrical and gas-burning appliances and equipment (household appliances) with the energy standard and energy sticker only with the top two energy ratings.

In this circular, it is stated: The Board of Ministers, in its meeting on 9/15/1402, approved No. 56580 dated 2/31/1402 of the National Standard Organization of Iran and based on Article 180 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, paragraph (4) was approved. Letter No. 94035 T 42400 H dated 5/17/1388 is amended as follows.

4- The importation of electrical and gas-burning appliances and equipment is subject to the mandatory implementation regulations of the energy consumption standard and energy sticker only with the top two energy ratings and based on the latest edition of the national standard of energy consumption standards for domestic electric and gas-burning energy equipment and is subject to the mandatory implementation regulations. The importation of the mentioned equipment with lower energy ratings should be prevented.
