Important notification for listed companies / energy costs of manufacturing companies is clarified

According to Tejarat News, this morning, the publishers’ supervisory management issued an announcement to the production companies registered in the stock exchange organization. According to this announcement, from now on, listed companies are obliged to disclose and publish the details of their energy costs in Cadal.

Thus, all listed companies are obliged to publish the details of their energy costs in 1400 and also their forecast of these costs in fiscal year 1401 in Kedal by January 6, 2014.

According to the communiqué, if the projected consumption for fiscal year 1401 is more than 30% of the energy consumption of 1400, the reason for this change must be clarified in the description column.

This decree is effective from today.

The communiqué came as fuel prices announced in the 1401 budget put severe pressure on manufacturing companies in the petroleum and steel industries. The rate, of course, was clarified yesterday. However, today the market has a positive start and it is expected that this announcement will eventually lead to more transparency in the capital market.
