In a letter, Nasiri announced the independent activities of the Iranian Hair Association



According to IRNA, in line with the frequent correspondence between the International Muay Thai Federation and the Iranian Muay Thai Association, the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee on the need to comply with the Olympic Charter and the IFMA Charter as a non-governmental and non-profit IOC member; Javad Nasiri, President of the Muay Thai Association of Iran, announced in a letter to the Minister of Sports and Youth that the association will operate as an independent, non-governmental and non-profit association in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the National Olympic Committee.

In this regard, Javad Nasiri said: “According to the charter of IFMA, all national member organizations must have technical and executive independence and work directly with the International Muay Thai Federation.”

A member of the IFMA Board of Directors and the High Ambassador for Sports in the world stated: “Accordingly, any activity of IFMA members as a subset of any federation will be accompanied by the cancellation of membership and the suspension of that member.”

Earlier, the Savateh Association of Iran, in a similar manner and in accordance with the Olympic Charter, international, Asian and national statutes, officially announced its inactivity as a subsidiary in other federations and announced its technical and functional independence.
