According to Mehr news agency, citing the public relations of the music office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Elahyari, the director general of the music office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, expressed his condolences on the death of Esfandiar Qarabaghi, a pioneer of the revolution.
He wrote in this message:

The news of the death of the creator of epic and revolutionary hymns, the death of Esfandiar Qarabaghi left the cultural and artistic community of Islamic Iran in mourning.
The name of Master Esfandiar Qarabaghi in his half-century of artistic activity is tied to Jihadi art, and he left what he had in sincerity for the revolution and was called “Singer of the Revolution”.
The late Qarabaghi, in alignment with the will of the people and in sync with the ideals of the revolution in the language of art, created remarkable and influential works, some of which have remained in the minds and memories of the people of the art field and the followers of the enlightened path of the cultural revolution of Islamic Iran.
I offer my condolences to the art community, his friends and family for the death of the committed artist Ostad Qarabaghi, and I pray for God’s mercy and grace for the lasting face of the country and patience for the survivors.”
