Inauguration of 3 power plants with the capacity to supply electricity to 15 industrial towns/ Khuzestan will have an advanced power plant

According to the economic correspondent of Fars news agency, one of the 5 power plants of class F opened in the framework of the transformation program in electricity efficiency will be opened in Khuzestan with the presence of the president.

According to the report of Thermal Power Company, this power plant unit named Dukohe Combined Cycle Power Plant is located in Andimeshk, Khuzestan, and the most advanced commercialized equipment of power plants in the world in this power generation unit produces 307 megawatts of electricity in the gas phase.

The overall efficiency of this power plant unit will reach 58% after adding the steam unit.

Earlier, the operator of the combined cycle power plant project of the thermal power company had announced the development plan of 11 class F power plant units with the aim of localizing this equipment in Iran.

According to Fars report, according to the information received from the Ministry of Energy, in addition to the 307 MW Dukohe power plant, 2 Gharb Karun power plants and Mianrud scattered power plants produce a total of 528 MW of electricity and will be launched during the President’s visit.

The nominal production power of these power plant units is enough to set up 15 large industrial towns.
