Inauguration of Victor 2022 with the presence of Iran and more than 100 countries

According to Aria Heritage, the exhibition, which runs until January 23, is seeking to help the tourism industry recover and increase the number of visitors, almost two years after the start of the Corona virus epidemic.

The King of Spain, Philip VI, and the Queen of Letizia, inaugurated the 42nd edition of the International Tourism Fair, Fitor 2022, at the Madrid Exhibition Center (IFEMA), accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reese Marou. They were accompanied by the president of the Madrid Association, Isabelle Diaz Iosso, and the mayor of the capital, Jose Luis Martinez Almeida.

Although officials in this sector do not expect tourism to return to pre-epidemic levels by 2023, experts believe that the tourism economy figures for 2022 will be close to 2019. In order to lead this improvement and re-launch of tourism, Fitor chose to participate in the exhibition this year, but has also maintained the online format adopted in the 2021 version.

Madrid is expected to have 90,000 people during the five-day period of the exhibition, 60,000 of whom are experts in the tourism industry. Also, this exhibition will be open to the public from all over the world on the weekend.

With around 600 exhibitors and 7,000 companies, the figures for the Fitor 2022 show are still a long way from the 2020 record (just before the epidemic began). More than 900 exhibitors, 11,000 companies, 165 countries and 250,000 visitors attended the Fitor 2020 exhibition.

The 42nd edition of the Victor Spain 2022 exhibition was inaugurated on the morning of Wednesday, January 19, 1400, in the presence of the King of Spain, some Spanish tourism officials, the head of the World Tourism Organization and officials from other countries present at the fair, including Sufi. This year, 14 Iranian participants in the field of inbound tours, handicrafts and Iranian souvenirs are present in the Iran booth.
