Increased air pollution today and tomorrow in industrial cities


According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian announced: Tuesday and Wednesday (February 7 and 8) in most parts of the country stable weather with a relative increase in temperature and in industrial and densely populated cities will increase the concentration of air pollutants with a decrease in air quality. During this period, a significant increase in temperature between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius is expected on the shores of the Caspian Sea.

He added: “Today (February 7), temporary strong winds are forecast in parts of the east and southeast of the country.”

The head of the National Center for Prediction and Crisis Management of Weather Risks said that on Thursday (February 12), with the arrival of the rain system in the west, northwest and central Alborz highlands, rain, snow and temporary strong winds will occur. : The intensity of rain on this day will be in the western strip of the provinces of West Azerbaijan and Kurdistan. Also on this day in the southwest and west of the country, strong winds in some areas can cause dust to rise.

He added: “Friday (February 13), in addition to the mentioned areas, the scope of activity of this system will include the southern slopes of Alborz in the provinces of Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran and the Caspian Sea coast.”

Ziaeian continued: On Saturday (February 13), rains will continue in the provinces located in the west, southwest and center of the country, the Caspian Sea coast, north of Fars province and south of the provinces of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan and Ardabil. Scattered rain is not unexpected on this day in the provinces of North Khorasan and Khorasan Razavi.

The head of the National Center for Prediction and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, referring to the decrease in temperature in some parts of the country, said: On Thursdays and Fridays (February 11 and 11), the temperature on the Caspian Sea coast decreased significantly between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius and in the northwest, west Country and southern slopes of Alborz A relative decrease in temperature of about 4 to 6 degrees Celsius will occur.

According to Ziaeian, the Persian Gulf is forecast to be rough from Tuesday to noon on Wednesday (February 10 to 10).

In the end, Ziaeian said: Today and tomorrow (February 7 and 8), Bandar Abbas with a temperature of 24 and 25 degrees Celsius and Ardabil with a temperature of -10 and -5 degrees Celsius are the coldest provincial centers of the country.
