Increased fear and distrust in the stock market / capital flight from the stock market

According to Tejarat News, the total index of the stock exchange in the trading of the third week of February fell by about 1.13 percent and finally reached the level of one million and 284 thousand units.
Also, the total homogeneous index increased from 333,019 units to 326,250 units and experienced a decrease of 2.03 percent. The total OTC index also increased from 17 thousand 661 units to 17 thousand 581 units and had a decrease of 0.45 percent.
There has been good news of the Vienna talks over the past week. But this news also could not have a positive effect on the index and transactions, and the outflow of money from the stock market increased compared to previous weeks.
After five months, OTC hosted an initial public offering that did not receive much support. The turnout was 1,261,455 trading codes, down about one-fifth from the initial public offering in 1999, when more than five million people participated.
It seems that the new initial public offering and the news of the negotiations are not attractive for the stock exchange shareholders and this group is looking to leave the market.
Continuous withdrawal of liquidity from the stock market
Javad Fallahian, a financial markets expert, told Tejaratnews: “Almost the whole society is involved with the stock market, and now the market is going through its most difficult days.” The fear and distrust of shareholders is now at its highest.
He explains: “This week, the selling pressure was high in many stocks, and this led to the outflow of liquidity and capital flight from the market.”
Fallahian continues: The selling pressure on Sunday increased sharply and after a long time, we saw the withdrawal of 1410 billion tomans of liquidity from the market.
The stock market expert emphasizes: Stock exchange transactions announce the outflow of daily liquidity.
Referring to the initial public offering on Wednesday, he said: “The participation rate in the initial public offering has decreased a lot compared to last year.” This lack of participation is a sign of fear and distrust of shareholders in the market.
Finally, Fallahian states: “Now we are only witnessing the outflow of liquidity from the stock market and the market is not in a good condition.”
