Increasing the number of banks providing Arbaeen currency services

According to the financial news report, citing the public relations of the central bank, in order to facilitate the conditions for the departure of Iranian compatriots to the holy shrines during Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) this year, agricultural banks, workers’ welfare. , housing, entrepreneur, Persians New Economy, Saman, Pasargad Capital, Post Bank, Sina, Cooperative Development , Middle East, City, Day, Tourism obliged to make arrangements to provide and pay foreign currency to pilgrims through all their foreign exchange branches in the country, with priority in Tehran and metropolitan cities.

It should be mentioned that before this, 5 National Banks of Iran, Sepah, Mellat Tejarat and Saderat and authorized exchange offices were obliged to sell foreign currency in the heading of Arbaeen Pilgrimage Currency.

It is noted that operating banks and authorized exchanges are obliged to pay the Arbaeen currency in the amount of 100 dollars per applicant at an agreed rate. Also, if the required dinar is provided from the equipped sources, the operating banks and exchanges can instead 100 dollars to pay 150,000 Iraqi dinars to the applicants at an agreed rate.

It should be noted that the sale of currency for the pilgrimage of Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) does not create any restrictions on the sale of travel currency for applicants this year.
