Increasing the number of board members of the Association of Independent Cinema Producers

According to Fars News Agency, the Extraordinary and Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of Independent Producers of Iranian Cinema was convened at the invitation of the Board of Directors and to amend some articles of the Articles of Association and the election of a new board of directors and inspector.

At this meeting, first, the increase of board members from 7 to 9 was discussed, which was approved. According to the proposal, the people who are nominated for the board of directors must have at least 3 films leading to the production, which must be approved by the extraordinary general assembly. The extension of the inspector’s term of office was another item that was approved by the Extraordinary General Assembly.

After the Extraordinary General Assembly, the Ordinary General Assembly of the Independent Association was formed, and after the report of the Chairman of the Board, the Inspector and the presentation of the Treasurer’s Report, the candidates for the election were nominated.

After voting, Seyed Gholamreza Mousavi, Morteza Shayesteh, Manijeh Hekmat, Reza Dermishian, Saeed Khani, Sasan Salvar, Soleiman Ali Mohammad, Khosrow Amir Sadeghi and Yousef Samadzadeh were elected to the board. Mohammad Reza Mesbah and Seyed Mohsen Jahed are members of Al-Al-Badl, and Ahmad Ahmadi was selected as the inspector by the audience.
