Inflation rate in March 1401: 46.5%

According to the report of monetary news, quoted from the public relations of the central bank, the summary of the results of the price index of consumer goods and services in urban areas of Iran (based on the base year 100=1395) in March 1401 is as follows:

– The price index of consumer goods and services in the urban areas of Iran reached 794.3 in March 1401, which increased by 6.6 percent compared to the previous month.

– The inflation rate in the twelve months ending March 1401 compared to the twelve months ending March 1400 is equal to 46.5 percent.
