According to Tejarat News, the managing director of the National Housing Fund announced the injection of 2,000 billion tomans into the housing sector and said: This year, 3,800 billion tomans will be spent from the collection point for housing installments in the National Housing Movement.
Mohammad Reza Esmaili reminded: Last year, about 2 thousand billion Tomans were spent on the construction and completion of housing projects from the sources of the Support Fund, part of which was spent in the Department of Roads and Urban Development and part in new cities.
He added: The legislator has predicted resources of 1000 billion tomans for this year, which have been notified to the fund and can be used after allocation.
He continued: In addition to the general budget that was announced to the National Housing Fund in this year’s budget, the law has considered resources for the fund that can be realized outside of the budget. One of the resources is the resources resulting from the fine of the banks that did not pay the housing facilities according to the law and within the set limit. Accordingly, banks that have not allocated 20% of their facilities to the housing sector are required to return the amount of non-commitment to the National Housing Fund.
The managing director of the National Housing Fund stated: We expect to have 3800 billion tomans of housing mortgage installments this year. Correspondence has been done with the Housing Bank and we will collect it for the benefit of the National Movement and the cost of housing.
According to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, land has been provided for more than 1,800,000 units of the National Housing Movement and about 1,480,000 units have reached the construction stage.
