Inspectors of national and international cities and villages of the Ministry visit the pearl weaving art of Davijan village

“Pearl and pearl weaving has a long history in Malayer city and basket weaving is an art that is woven and used in most villages of Malayer and has various applications in agriculture and home. Malayer has a production capacity of more than 200 hectares, the center of production,” Jalili said. “This product is in the country where most pearl farms are located in the villages of Davijan, Gorab, Rezvankadeh and Tochghaz and Haramabad in Malayer city.”
He continued: “Considering the cultivation of quality pearl products in the city and its impact on employment and life of people and workshops active in the city, the national registration file of pearls with the focus on Davijan village sent to the ministry that experts on pearl farms, centers “Distribution and supply of this product, various basket weaving workshops were visited and inspectors got acquainted with the production cycle.”
Vida Tohdi, Director General of Education and Extension of the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, also said during the visit: “We are happy that this art is spreading in the city and its potential is that they work as a family. “The 80-year-old is working, and this solidarity and unity is very important to us.”
