Shahin Plus has not seen any significant changes in the exterior design, except for the addition of the “Plus” logo on the rear.
The main point is the changes related to the engine and gearbox of the car. Under the hood of this new version, there is a 4-cylinder 16-valve in-line naturally aspirated ME 16 megamotor engine that can produce up to 115 horsepower and 147 Nm of torque.
The transmission of power in the manual gear version is done by the 5-speed manual gearbox 5F18 and in the automatic model, by the 6-speed DAE automatic gearbox. In addition, the Shahin PLUS engine uses the variable valve timing system or VVT, which will increase the efficiency of the engine.
The front suspension of this sedan is McPherson type and the rear part has a semi-independent H structure. The steering wheel of this car is also of electric assistance type.
Previously, the regular version of the Shaheen had a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 4 cylinders, which was capable of producing 115 horsepower and 178 Nm of torque. The name of this engine is M 15 and the 5-speed manual gearbox made by Aisin Japan was responsible for power transmission.
The interior of the Shahin has not had any visible changes, except for the changes in facilities and some options.
Electric power steering, push-button start, sunroof, cruise control, speed limiter, light sensor, automatic air conditioning, heater and electric adjustment of the driver’s seat, electric stability control system, hill start control system, sports and snow mode, and tip tronic gear box. Two airbags, parking sensor and reverse camera, 10-inch Android touch screen, electric folding mirrors, etc. are among the general features of Shaheen Plus.
This car is currently undergoing technical testing and there is still no reliable news about its release date and price.
