Integration of Facebook work application with Microsoft Thames

The change will allow users to share Workplace news feed content and group content with Microsoft’s Teams platform. Users will soon be able to view Teams videos in Workplace groups.
Telecommuting tools have become an important component for companies during the Covid 19 pandemic. “You need to be able to meet with employees wherever they are and on whatever platform they use the most,” said Workplace Manager Ojwal Singh in an interview. He stated that the integration has largely targeted the customers of both products.
The Workplace app, which Facebook uses as an internal messaging board, was launched outside the company five years ago. This software is used by companies including Walmart and Delivery. Facebook has announced that there are seven million paid subscribers to the service.
Microsoft and Facebook, which recently changed their name to Meta to reflect their focus on the virtual world, are both developing virtual reality solutions for telecommuting.
According to Reuters, Microsoft announced last week that it would bring the Mesh virtual platform to Teams next year. Facebook recently released a beta beta version of its Horizon Workrooms telecommuting app for its virtual reality headset users.
