Intel unveils NUC X15 Kit gaming reference laptop with updated hardware

Intel has unveiled its NUC X15 Kit gaming reference laptop with the introduction of the commercial version of the NUC 14PE commercial laptop. This product is the first reference version of the Intel gaming laptop and can be configured with the latest generation of Intel and Nvidia hardware. It is not clear which manufacturers will supply the NUC X15, but Intel has announced that all specifications and hardware configurations will be available to manufacturers.

According to a table released by Intel, the NUC X15 reference laptop will be available in five different hardware configurations, including Intel Tiger Lake processors and Nvidia RTX 30 series graphics cards. Also in this table, Intel has confirmed support for dual-channel SODIMM memory. The display of this laptop has a 16: 9 aspect ratio and is equipped with a mechanical keyboard with dedicated RGB lighting for each key.

In the lower configuration of this laptop, Intel has included a Core i5-11400H processor with GeForce RTX 3060, which comes with a Full HD display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Other Intel Gaming Reference Laptop configurations include the powerful Core i7-11800H processor along with the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics chip, and you can choose between QHD panels with a refresh rate of 165 Hz or FHD with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. To power the device, Intel has included a 94-watt-hour battery that can support the device for several hours while gaming. The NUC X15 is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port, which makes it suitable for connecting to high-refresh external monitors. Intel has not yet commented on the price of the NUC X15.
