“Interruption” among the nominees for the best film of the women’s section of NCIFF Germany



The short film “Waffe” directed by Mana Pak Sarasht was nominated for the award of the best film in the women’s section of NCIFF Germany.

Charso Press: According to the public relations of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, the fifth Nepal Cultura International Film Festival, which will be held from September 18 to 22 in Hamburg, Germany, has a section focusing on the issue of women, and the short film “Waffe” by Mana Paksarsht will enter the festival. and the best film of this direct section will be judged at the Hamburg Festival, which is approved by the Oscar Academy.

“Waffeh” is the only representative of Iranian cinema, which competes with two films from Germany.

The short film “Interruption” has previously participated in the 39th Tehran Short Film Festival, where it was nominated for the best actress of the festival for the performance of Mana Pak Sarasht and won the special prize of the director for a different look at women’s issues.

This film was selected for the 41st Fajr Film Festival.

In the summary of the film, it is stated: “Go, come back when you are clean, what did you see, maybe you left and never came back….”
