Finally, the non-membership of a large number of journalists in the notification list to the Ministry of Communications prompted the Fars news agency to follow up with the director general of the press and internal news agencies of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in order to clarify the dimensions of the issue.

Iman Shamsaei, Director General of the Press and Internal News Agencies of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in a conversation with a Fars news agency reporter, said: About a month ago, Mr. Isa Zarepour, the Minister of Communications, announced that the basis of the Journalist’s Day gift will be based on the list of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. We have just announced the announcement that the basis of the press deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance are people who are either in the responsible managers section or in the journalists section of the country’s comprehensive media system.
He continued: “We will never prevent people who are not members of this system but are active in the press, that is, if a person is active in a news agency but is not a member of the system, it does not mean that he is not allowed to work, but we must have a basis for journalist certification.”

Shamsaei added: Nearly 13,000 licensed media outlets are operating in the country, this collection includes about 330 newspapers, 40 news agencies, 8,000 publications, and 4,600 news bases in various areas. If it is based on the submission of the names by the media, it is possible that this will not happen in a precise and monitored manner. Also, in this case, we will face a large volume of names and centers.

Explaining the necessity of a comprehensive media system, Shamsaei stated: For this reason, our basis for all support measures from internet journalism to membership in the art credit fund, supplementary insurance, loans, etc. will be done with the authority of the comprehensive media system. There is no limit for membership, and the basis for registration is the self-declaration of journalists and the presentation of records from the past 3 months, as well as the letter from the media manager who introduces that person as a journalist, and finally this person is introduced as a journalist approved by the Ministry of Guidance, and a professional card. In the future, a journalist is also in order for these people.

Shamsaei added: This system will definitely not be the basis for professional activity in the media, but we do not have any other basis for verifying that a person is a journalist, because this case is not like engineering and medicine, which have an engineering system organization number, and basically we do not have a trade union system, and there are many organizations as well. are active For this reason, this system has been designed since the last years so that we first know how many journalists there really are in the country and we can plan for their support affairs. Among the friends of the Ministry of Communications, they requested the introduction of media activists, and we also based this system on which both journalists and responsible managers are members.

He further clarified: We told other media friends to register and become members in this way, and we sent the list with the number of 12,000 people two days ago, and they will receive their internet, for those who had not registered. We announced that they should register by August 25 and we will resend the supplementary list so that no journalists are received without internet.

The director general of the press and domestic news agencies continued: “Until today, we have witnessed the discomfort of the local media that the operators did not count on them to receive names, and these media expressed their displeasure that we are a small local media and they do not count us, even though we are working.” We are in our city and this is far from justice, that’s why we announced this system to bring the conditions closer to justice and we don’t have any restrictions for its registration.

He emphasized: There is no requirement to register in this system, and simply because unfortunately we do not have a single media system in our country, that is, the profession of journalism, like medicine and engineering, does not have a center to approve people such as the Engineering Organization, naturally, anyone can Introduce yourself as a journalist and even now there are people who use these facilities but are not journalists.
