Introducing Iran in the Algerian Children’s Magazine


According to the report of Arya’s heritage, “Ghamizah” magazine (meaning guardian of Bashek) is a reliable and professional magazine for Algerian children and teenagers, which has published the case of introducing Iran as a step towards introducing Iran to its audience.

Experts and specialists of cultural heritage in the field of diplomacy admit that children and teenagers are the most important target group in storytelling and while emphasizing this age group, they state that storytelling in cultural heritage is a barrier against western narratives and this is exactly what, fortunately, in the special issue of this magazine, and interestingly, the cover design of this issue of the magazine is also dedicated to this case.

The contents presented in this special issue for children and teenagers from Islamic Iran, after an introduction on the general characteristics of Iran, include: reference to the ancient civilization of Iran with the introduction of Chaghazanbil Temple and Persepolis, introduction of Shushtar water structures, Naqsh Jahan Square of Isfahan and windmills of Yazd , Freedom and Revolution Square, Iran’s scientific achievements after the Islamic Revolution and four prominent figures of Iranian science and culture.

In this special issue, a children’s competition has also been designed, and prizes will be presented to the winners.
Considering the sensitive conditions of the Arab countries of Algeria in relation to Islamic Iran, this action should be considered a great success, which can be the basis for other similar actions and programs that can be implemented in other countries as well.
