Introducing the films selected for the “Book and Cinema” section of the Tehran Short Film Festival
Charso Press: According to the press office of the 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival, 16 short films made it to the special book and cinema section of the 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival.
The titles of these films are announced as follows:

It should be mentioned that the special section “Books and cinema” in cooperation with the House of Books and Literature of Iran and the Iranian Youth Cinema Association in order to grow and elevate the culture and art of Islamic Iran as elements of the national identity and to promote books and book reading in the “40th Tehran International Short Film Festival” from the film And the screenplays produced with the theme of “Books and book reading, publishing industry, literary adaptation, preservation and history of authors, publishers and servants of the publishing field” are celebrated.
Also, the third day of the festival has been named as “Book and Cinema Day” and the nominees of the “Book and Cinema” special section have been announced and the prizes for the second and third places will be awarded on this day. The first prize of this section will also be awarded to the chosen person at the closing ceremony of the festival.
It should be noted that the statue of the Tehran International Short Film Festival and the amount of 300 million Rials will be awarded to the first winner, the diploma of honor and the amount of 150 million Rials will be awarded to the second winner, and the diploma of honor and the amount of 100 million Rials will be awarded to the third winner of this special section.
The “Book and Cinema” special award also includes a diploma of honor and support for a story adaptation screenplay according to the script for writing a short adaptation screenplay up to three billion Rials (joint support of the Iranian Book and Literature House and the Iranian Youth Cinema Association) at the same time as the book week and 24 In November, books and reading are given.
These awards will be given to the chosen ones by the House of Books and Literature of Iran.
