According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the public relations of Radio Saba, the selection committee of the comedy festival and the radio “Under the Smile Umbrella”, which has started the work of reviewing the received works since February 24, work in two groups.

Professional works are reviewed by producer Parvaneh Tahmasebi, comedian Javad Ensafi and satirist and programmer Mohammad Ozi, and works by the popular section are reviewed by programmer Mehdi Shahrezaei, writer and programmer Zahra Yasaghi and comedian Mahsa Iranian.

The selection committee will present its votes on the 18th of Bahman, and finally the names of the programs that made it to the final stage on the 20th of Bahman will be announced.

In each structure, the 8 programs that have received the most points will advance to the final stage of judging, and finally the names of the nominees for the award will be announced on the 2nd of Esfand.
