The closing ceremony of this period of the festival was attended by Mohammad Reza Dashti, the representative of the people of Ardakan in the Islamic Council, the governor of Ardakan, the director general of the Martyr and Martyrs Foundation of Yazd province, Kazem Nazari, the director general of performing arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the director general of culture and Islamic guidance of Yazd province, the deputy adviser Martyr and Martyr Affairs Foundation cultural event was held in the conference hall of Martyr Beheshti College, Ardakan.

In this ceremony, Farhad Mokhtari, the secretary of the festival, read the message, which is as follows:

“Art in its essence has this unique feature that it carries the message of spirituality, morality, peace and understanding. When art in Islamic Iran and in the hands of Iranian artists takes on an impressive appearance, it plays a more effective role in creating communication, understanding and constructive interaction in today’s world. Therefore, not only the external manifestations of this art are so attractive and beautiful, but its inner nature also possesses this spiritual beauty to the extent of perfection.

Martyr is the most artistic person of all times and martyrdom is the most valuable art that can tell the highest messages for all generations. If we consider the ultimate goal of art to be the creation of a better and more sublime world, such a world can only be achieved through self-sacrifice. Martyrdom is the permanent manifestation of these values and the martyrs are the heroes of creating a better time and brightening this world.

The art of performing is now experiencing new conditions and must set foot on a new path. A way that paying attention to the media requirements of today’s world and taking advantage of the endless capacities of popular art and valuable and revolutionary concepts is unavoidable. This is why festivals like this should be used to generate ideas and exchange experiences in this field. I wish success to all those who strive in the field of thought and culture in walking this valuable and dangerous path.”
