iPhone 14 Pro with A16 Bionic chip destroys Android competitors

At the Far Out ceremony and when introducing the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, Apple announced that the chip A16 Bionic contained in them fastest It’s a chip that’s already been in mobile phones, but it didn’t say exactly how much faster it would be in terms of performance than the A15 Bionic in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. Now the benchmark results of this new chip can provide more details in this field.
The 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max introduced a set of new features such as a new moving notch or “Dynamic Island”, a new 48-megapixel camera with higher resolution and an always-on display.
The A16 Bionic chip in both devices has two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, and Apple claims the CPU is up to 40 percent faster than competing chips. The chip also has a 5-core GPU with 50% more memory bandwidth and a new 16-core neural engine that can perform about 17 trillion operations per second.
The performance of the A16 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14 Pro
Instead of comparing the new chip to the A15 Bionic used in the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, Apple pits it against competing chips and claims that it offers better performance compared to them. Now a whistleblower, Geekbench iPhone 14 Pro benchmark scores published that although they are higher than the scores of Android phones and the previous generation, the numbers are not very impressive.

According to the image above, the iPhone 14 Pro has received 1879 points in the single-core test and 4664 points in the multi-core test. For comparison, the iPhone 13 Pro Max scored 1734 and 4814 respectively in the same test.
Samsung’s latest foldable flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which uses Qualcomm’s 1st generation Snapdragon 8 Plus chipset, also scored 1,304 and 3,782 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Of course, it should be noted that the results of this benchmark are probably based on a pre-launch device, so there is a possibility that a better performance will be reported after the iPhone 14 Pro is released to the market.
The pre-order of iPhone phones will start from tomorrow (September 18) and their sales will start from September 16 (September 25).
