iPhone 15 Pro Max defeats Galaxy S23 Ultra in the drop test! + Video

When the new flagships of Samsung or Apple are introduced, we see the release of various videos of them, some of which compare these smartphones with each other. Now we are watching the comparison drop test video of iPhone 15 Pro Max and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

iPhone 15 Pro is the latest and most expensive flagship of Apple and the Galaxy S23 Ultra is also the most expensive flagship of the Galaxy S series for 2023. YouTube channel PhoneBuff on videohas put these smartphones in a drop test against each other.

iPhone 15 Pro and Galaxy S23 Ultra drop test

In a video published by PhoneBuff, the flagships of Apple and Samsung fight each other in four stages. These smartphones are dropped from the back, from the corners, from the front (display) and finally on steel, and their performance is compared.

Overall, both smartphones survive the drop tests, however, the extent of damage to them is not the same. Although the scores obtained by these products in the drop test are very close, Samsung’s representative wins in the end.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max suffers more damage than the Galaxy S23 Ultra in three stages of the drop test, and its final score is 37 out of 40. This is while the representative of Samsung achieves a score of 39 out of 40.

The back panel glass and the iPhone 15 Pro Max screen crack at the very first stage of the drop test, however, in the drop test from the corners, the titanium used in it shows a higher resistance than the aluminum frame of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

In the end, both Samsung and Apple smartphones maintain their performance and even the cameras are not damaged, which can be good news for users. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max seems to take more damage than its predecessors with a steel frame.
