iPhone 15 Pro will probably be introduced in dark red color as well

Apple changes the color options with each iPhone release, often introducing a special color or set of colors to differentiate the new iPhones from the previous generation. With the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple introduced the dark purple color and the standard version of this series was also available in purple color. Now in a new report it is said that iPhone 15 Pro in color dark red will also be offered.

Apple usually releases iPhone Pro models in special colors every year. iPhone 12 Pro was released in Pacific Blue, iPhone 13 Pro in Sierra Blue and iPhone 14 Pro in Special Space Black and Dark Purple colors.

Standard iPhone 15 colors

For the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, it has been said that Apple is testing two color options, light blue and pink. However, 9to5Mac’s source pointed out that the information provided is very early decisions by the tech giant, and that Apple may introduce its next-generation iPhones in other colors next fall.

Before releasing new iPhone models, Apple usually tests several different colors with them. Given that the new devices are said to have a titanium chassis, Apple also needs to perfect the coating process for the titanium material and consider things like yield rates, production time, and manufacturing costs.

The Cupertino giant has already offered titanium models of the Apple Watch in standard silver titanium and darker titanium colors, but if this report is true, the dark red color will be brand new.
