Iran and Syria are important points for the meeting between the security officials of the Zionist regime and Egypt

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, a high-level Israeli security delegation arrived in Cairo on Sunday to discuss Iran, the situation in the Gaza Strip and the Middle East with senior Egyptian security officials.

According to the English website «العربي.The delegation will be led by Israeli regime security adviser Eyal Holata and is scheduled to meet with General Abbas Kamel, director general of Egypt’s intelligence service. The two security officials will discuss the possibility of a long-term Israeli ceasefire with Hamas rulers in Gaza, which Egypt is trying to mediate.

Abbas Kamel is also scheduled to travel to occupied Palestine before the end of November to present an Egyptian ceasefire plan to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. This will be the second full trip to occupied Palestine since the inauguration of the new Zionist regime on June 13.

It is said that Major General Abbas’s visit is not limited to Gaza and the ceasefire, but there are other major issues. The sources said that the issue of Iran and the situation in Syria will also be discussed during the meeting of Zionist officials with Egypt.

Informed officials added that efforts to strengthen the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip are ongoing, but little progress has been made so far. In recent months, Egypt has been in talks with Hamas to rebuild the besieged region.

In a meeting with Egyptian officials a few weeks ago, Hamas reiterated its support for the national unity government and the conduct of elections, and its position on non-recognition of the Zionist regime and the Quartet of Peace (US, Russia, EU and UN). He insisted on joining the Palestinian National Unity Government.

Hamas made the remarks in response to remarks by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas that Hamas must agree to the terms of the Quartet Peace Committee in order to join the national unity government.

End of message.
