Iran-Brazil Joint Chamber of Commerce opens in Sao Paulo

According to IRNA on Saturday from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brazil, Hossein Gharibi at the ceremony, while appreciating the support of the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in improving bilateral relations, expressed satisfaction with the establishment of the first institution for Iranian private sector representatives in Brazil.
Referring to the volume of more than several billion dollars in trade relations between the two countries, he called for the preservation, expansion, stability and diversification of bilateral relations.
Referring to the role and position of Iran and Brazil in their region, as well as the potentials and overlap of the two countries’ economies, our ambassador to Brazil said: Extend to a variety of business interactions with small and medium-sized companies on both sides.
Gharibi reminded that removing obstacles such as providing a banking platform, a direct shipping line and a direct air line will facilitate these goals.
Our ambassador to Brazil added: “Brazil is an effective member of Mercosur and Iran has a large market in a region adjacent to Asia, Eurasia and the Middle East, and Iran can facilitate activities between the two areas of Mercosur and Eurasia.” Iran’s main trading partners, including China, Russia, India and South Africa, which along with Brazil are members of the BRICS group, are also important partners for Brazil, and this indicates good capacities in this field.
Fakhreddin Amerian, President of the Iran-Brazil Joint Chamber, stated that the main purpose of opening the office of this chamber in Brazil, after five years of activity in Iran, is to facilitate trade for traders and merchants in order to create a favorable vision for stability and development of trade between the two countries. .
Elimination of existing legal, tariff and non-tariff barriers to improve the trade balance between the two countries was raised as the main request from the relevant Brazilian authorities to boost trade between the two countries.
The ceremony was attended by about two hundred Iranian and Brazilian special guests, and MPs from both sides, including the heads of agricultural commissions, as well as the heads of the parliamentary friendship group and the Deputy Minister of Jihad for Agriculture, made important remarks to strengthen trade relations between the two sides. کردن.
