Iran canceled its visas with a number of Central Asian countries


Iran unilaterally canceled the entry visas of nationals of a number of countries in the region, including Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

Ezzatullah Zargami Minister of Cultural Heritage, Crafts and Tourism He said: This ministry proposed canceling visas with 32 countries in the government meeting, which was welcomed by the government delegation.

Based on this, Iran canceled visa For citizens of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and 29 other countries, it unilaterally implemented it.

Also, in this unilateral action, Iran canceled the visas of citizens of 17 Asian countries, 6 African countries, 5 European countries and 5 other Latin American countries. Among the Asian countries, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Tunisia, Malaysia and Singapore can be mentioned.

Iran also canceled visas for Indian nationals.

It is said that on November 17 of this year, during Seyed Ebrahim Raisi’s visit to Tajikistan, the foreign ministers of Iran and Tajikistan signed the visa-free travel document between the two countries in the presence of the heads of the two countries.

After more than a month, the Tajik side has not yet officially announced the implementation of this document.
