Iran Insurance Applied Science Investment Center The first specialized insurance training center

According to the Iran Economist, quoting the public relations of Iran Insurance, Hamid Moeini explained the history of this educational center and stated: Iran Insurance Applied Science Training Center started its activities in 1390 by accepting students in associate degree and creating undergraduate courses And the free training courses approved by the Central Insurance continued to operate. However, in 2017, after the graduation of 4,000 students, the center was faced with a decree from the Supreme Administrative Council of the President, which banned government agencies from running applied science education centers and forced them to transfer this activity to the private sector. He terminated his activity.

Moeini added: “After the complete cessation of student enrollment, the educational activities of this center were limited to a” etiquette course “for 160 hours based on the approval of the Central Insurance and Insurance Research Institute for representatives of insurance companies.” From 2017 to 2009, efforts were made to revive the center, including the introduction of Iran Insurance Subsidiaries and Holding Companies (Saba Business Development Company, Mehr Siyahat Saba Company, Moin Iran Insurance Company, Simorgh Company and Retirees Association). Each was unsuccessful for a number of reasons, including the lack of connection between the subject matter of their activities and training, as well as the nature of these companies.

The director of Saba Business Applied Science Development Center, appreciating the efforts of the former managers of this center, stated: Since 2009, after the managerial changes and the appointment of me as the head of the center, with the support and emphasis of the then CEO, The title of “Special Brand Position” in specialized training, we decided to take more steps and use any solution to restart the center. In this regard, joint meetings were held with the presence of the CEO of Iran Insurance and the President of the Comprehensive University of Applied Sciences, during which it was agreed that Saba Business Company (Iran Insurance Investment), as one of the insurance companies in Iran, has the closest relationship with insurance. And was trained to be in charge of this training center. For this reason, the company was allowed to enter into issues of an educational nature with the changes it made in its articles of association.

After that, Saba Business Company, as an applicant, held consecutive meetings with the Comprehensive University of Applied Sciences, and finally, after 10 months, on July 6, 2010, this center was renamed “Saba Business Development Center for Applied Science Development”. Received reactivation to attract students.

Continuing his remarks about the current situation of this center, Moeini said: “Currently, 350 students are studying in this center for 3 semesters.” Of course, in addition to educational activities, this center has taken effective and important scientific research measures in the form of launching an innovation and technology center in May 1400, and with this action, another golden leaf has been added to the honors of the university center to the point that it is one of the only centers. Innovation in the insurance industry is known to have the potential to become an acceleration center and technology park in the entire insurance industry, and this in itself is an irreplaceable achievement.

He also mentioned the basic and important measures that have been taken and are being done by this center to expand and expand educational and academic activities at the national and international levels in the following areas:
