Iran Insurance signed a comprehensive cooperation memorandum with Tehran University of Medical Sciences


According to the financial news report, citing the public relations of Iran Insurance, Safarzadeh, Technical Vice President of Iran Insurance, during the ceremony, while pointing out the capabilities of Iran Insurance in providing various insurance services to policyholders and victims across the country, said: Iran Insurance As the largest and only state insurance company in the country and the market leader, with the largest number of branches and service centers across the country and with a 28% market share among 32 insurance companies, it provides its services in person and online. And according to the social and governance responsibilities assigned to Iran Insurance, this company has a higher share of losses than other companies.

The Technical Vice President of Iran Insurance further added: As a state insurance company, by making its activities agile, it has taken steps to fulfill its promises to the insured and the injured parties, and speeding up the process of handling and paying claims on time is one of the most important policies. Iran’s main insurance policies and priorities are always emphasized by the company’s senior managers, and the payment of more than 30 thousand billion Tomans in damages in various insurance fields in 1401 shows this issue.

Safarzadeh listed the competitive advantage of Iran Insurance as the quality of the after-sales services of this company in various insurance fields and the easy access of the service recipients to the executive units and online systems of the company and said: Iran Insurance by optimizing non-face-to-face payment methods for services and development Damage payment methods have been able to increase and improve the relative satisfaction of customers in this sector, and this trend will be followed with special attention this year. So that by scanning and sending medical documents, the insured will no longer need to go to claim centers and branches in order to receive their medical expenses.

The Technical Vice President of Iran Insurance considered the return on investment in the insurance industry to be very low and stated: In an optimistic view, insurance companies are at a break-even point in insurance operations, and the only source of profitability for these companies is their investment. Therefore, cutting rates, applying non-expert discounts and providing non-technical rates will definitely create many financial problems for insurance companies, especially in the field of medical insurance, which has a loss ratio of 140%.

In the end, he emphasized the development of cooperation between the Medical Sciences Center and the use of joint capacities.

Referring to Tehran University of Medical Sciences’ history of cooperation with Iran Insurance, Ramin Rahimnia said: “One of our honors was cooperation with a large insurance company of Iran, which was created at some point for the sake of competition. Rahmati also explained the types of professional liability insurance policies for doctors, paramedics, employers, professional liability insurance policies for managers, elevators and university centers and called for the expansion of relations and cooperation between us.

It should be mentioned that in this meeting, the managers of the 13 Aban pharmacy and medical centers also called for renewed cooperation, referring to the records of cooperation between Iran’s insurance and these centers.
