According to Moj News Agency, the media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister announced in a statement that the Prime Minister of this country, “Mohammed Shia al-Sudani” and “Izzatullah Zarghami”, the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Iran, regarding the cooperation between the two countries in the field of antiquities and heritage. They talked culturally and exchanged experiences.

The media office of the Prime Minister added in this statement that the meeting between the Iraqi Prime Minister and Ezzatullah Zarghami, the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was held yesterday evening (Sunday) in the presence of Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh in Baghdad.

This statement states that in this meeting, the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of antiquities and cultural heritage and the exchange of experiences were discussed.

The Iraqi Prime Minister’s Media Office added that the meeting also discussed the importance of coordinating work in the field of religious tourism and providing mutual facilities for the citizens of the two countries.
