The secretary of the country’s national risk working group, while reviewing the legal responsibilities of this field in the country, expressed the available solutions to reduce its risk, especially in the field of cultural heritage and tourism.
This university lecturer, with a general review of the placement of the country’s cultural heritage elements in the land subsidence zone, made some suggestions including; Special study of the risk of land subsidence in the areas of cultural heritage and tourism elements, preparation of periodic control checklists for the effect of land subsidence in cultural heritage and tourism parliaments, formulation of current action guidelines, development of a plan to monitor land subsidence in sensitive sites, implementation of engineering measures and measures to control the effects of land subsidence in sites Cultural heritage and tourism and holding educational workshops periodically and at different levels.
Morteza Mahdavi, a specialized member of the Road, Housing and Urban Development Research Center on structural issues and natural hazards and a former lecturer at the Higher Education Center of Cultural Heritage of the country, in the continuation of this meeting, referring to the importance of the subsidence phenomenon and the long-term impact of this phenomenon on the loss of the ground level and its consequences. , a very negative effect on linear and sensitive structures and structures whose performance is directly dependent on maintaining the designed balance, the need for specialized investigation of this phenomenon in the mentioned elements, identifying the dimensions of this event in areas with potential, risk zoning, identifying high risk points and also evaluating the levels He declared the vulnerability of exposed elements to be very vital and necessary.

By reviewing the most important effects of subsidence on structures and infrastructures, especially those related to cultural heritage and buildings, he explained the methods of monitoring these effects as well as the necessary instructions for maintenance and retrofitting.
