Iran is stable, 44 years of honor Water supply to 83 percent of the villages after the Islamic revolution/water supply to 10 thousand villages in the program of the 13th government

According to the economic correspondent of Fars news agency, having clean water is one of the components of progress in any society, which reduces diseases and establishes social justice in the society.

The Secretariat of the Supreme Jihad Council for the Development of Nomadic Affairs and Rural Development announced: Before the revolution, only 8 percent of the country’s villages had safe and sanitary water, and after the revolution, this figure has reached 82.95 percent.

During this period, 36 thousand 676 villages of the country have been supplied with safe and sanitary water, which have a total population of 17 million 226 thousand people.

Also, in the 13th government, in the Ministry of Energy, the Jihad Water Supply Center was established to provide drinking water to 10 thousand villages.
