Car imports have been banned since 1997; The plan to liberalize car imports was announced last year, but the Expediency Council has opposed it, and this opposition has continued until now, because according to Myrslim, a member of the Expediency Council, the car import system is for transformational cars and causes currency to leave the country. .

According to the permission of the parliament and what Ezatullah Talarpashti, a member of the parliament, said in March of last year: the parliament recognized the public demand and allowed the government to allow a total of 100,000 cars to be imported in 1401.

Of course, carmakers say that with the liberalization of imports, car prices should also be free and mandatory pricing should be eliminated.

Mr. Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Silence, also announced the end of the decree of the leaders of the forces on banning the import of cars by the end of May next year, and said: “The car will arrive.”
