Iran raises official oil sales price for Asians


According to Fars News Agency and quoting the public relations of the Ministry of Oil, the International Affairs Department of the National Iranian Oil Company set the price of light, heavy and heavy crude oil for sale in April at $ 4.70, $ 3.65 and $ 3.75, respectively. It has priced above the average price of Oman / Dubai oil.

The price of a barrel of Iranian light crude oil for sale in April is $ 2 and 5 cents, the price of Iranian heavy crude oil is $ 1 and 95 cents and the price of burning crude oil is $ 2 and 5 cents higher than in March (March-April).

The average price of Oman / Dubai crude oil is the base price of crude oil in West Asia.

Iran has priced light, heavy, Forouzan and Soroush crude oil below the Brent market in northwestern Europe, the Mediterranean and South Africa.

According to the latest report of the Secretariat of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which was published yesterday (Tuesday, March 15), Iran’s oil production increased by 44,000 barrels in February and reached 2,546,000 barrels of crude oil.

Saudi company Aramco had previously announced an official increase in the selling price of its light crude oil for supply to Asian customers in April.
