According to Tejarat News, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development met and discussed with the Minister of Regional Management and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Ganel Sanusian in Dadman building regarding the development of cooperation between the two countries.
According to ISNA, in this meeting, it was decided that Iranian companies should cooperate with Armenia in the construction field of tunnels, roads, and building construction. Also, according to the agreement of the two countries, it was decided to complete and develop the north-south corridor from Nordoz border to Warzghan and Tabriz. The two countries agreed to start the construction of the 7.2-kilometer Kajaran tunnel in the spring of 2023 by Iranian companies in the territory of Armenia.

It has been decided that with the measures taken by Armenia in its territory and the works carried out by Iranian construction companies in Tabriz and Varzghan in a part of the North-South Corridor in Iran, the new corridor will actually be developed from North-South and become the North-South Corridor of Iran. It is added that this development is very important for the two countries of Iran and Armenia.
According to the report of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, he explained: Currently, the volume of trade between Iran and Armenia is not large, but it has been decided to increase the volume of trade between the two countries with the export of engineering services.
