According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency, the Organization of Crude Oil Exporting Countries, OPEC, announced in its latest report that the average price of a barrel of Iranian heavy oil in January 2023 (D 1401) increased by 2 dollars and 45 cents compared to the previous month. It has reached 81.56 dollars.

Iranian oil was sold at $79.11 per barrel in December.

The average price of Iranian oil in the first month of 2023 was 81.56 dollars per barrel, which shows a decrease of 4.03 dollars compared to the same period of 2022. The average price of Iranian oil in the first month of 2022 was $85.59 per barrel.

* $30 increase in the average price of Iranian oil in 2022

The average price of Iranian oil in 2022 was $99.92 per barrel, which shows an increase of $30.12 compared to the same period in 2021. The average price of Iranian oil in 2021 was $69.80 per barrel.

Iranian oil in 2021 has been sold at an average of 69.8 dollars. Meanwhile, the average price of Iranian oil in 2020 was $40.77 per barrel, which means that the average price of Iranian oil in 2021 has increased by $29 and 3 cents compared to 2020.

The average price of Iranian oil in 2019 is estimated at $61.85 per barrel.

According to this report, this figure was $67.97 and $49.60 per barrel in 2018 and 2017, respectively.

The price of Saudi light oil also increased by $1.36 to $83.80 per barrel.
