Iran’s ambassador in Kabul: Security and stability in Afghanistan is for the benefit of the region – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, citing Ava News Agency, “Amir Khan Motaghi”, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the interim government of the Taliban in Afghanistan, met and talked with the Iranian ambassador in Kabul this Sunday.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the interim government of the Taliban in Afghanistan and the ambassador of Iran in Kabul also emphasized the need to expand trade relations between the two countries.
Bahadur Aminian, Iran’s ambassador, also called the security and stability in Afghanistan beneficial to the region and added: “We are trying to make positive and mutual use of maintaining good neighborliness through common borders with Afghanistan.”
According to Ava news agency, Hafiz Zia Ahmed, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban Interim Government, also announced in a tweet that Amir Khan Motaghi met with Bahadur Aminian, the Iranian ambassador in Kabul.
According to him, immigrants, Afghan prisoners in Iran, as well as the fight against drugs, border issues and bilateral trade relations were among the topics discussed in this meeting.
Amir Khan Motaghi also expressed his satisfaction with the expansion of bilateral relations with Iran and said: Afghanistan is trying to become a regional transit center and in this regard, it will participate in the transfer of commercial goods between Iran and Tajikistan.
The Deputy Spokesperson of the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that in this meeting, a complete agreement was reached regarding the holding of bilateral meetings on border issues.
