Iran’s ambassador was summoned in Baku – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news
According to Mehr news agency, the media of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced that Iran’s Ambassador Seyed Abbas Mousavi was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.
According to Azarbaijan 24, this summons took place after Iran sent a protest note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its embassy.
“Aykhan Hajizada”, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, announced today that he received a note from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baku addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of his country, and subsequently, “Syed Abbas Mousavi” was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, what is stated in the note of the Iranian side about the media of the Republic of Azerbaijan, does not reflect the reality!
He claimed: We submitted a response note to the Iranian side as well as a list of several articles against the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Iranian media to the Tehran ambassador. We told him that insulting, false and biased information about the Republic of Azerbaijan, its government and officials, as well as untrue statements and words of well-known social and political figures of Iran are harming the relations between the two countries and deepening misunderstandings!
“Aikhan Hajizadeh” claimed with a baseless claim: In the meeting with the Iranian ambassador, it was pointed out that the misunderstandings created in our relations are constantly caused by the unilateral behavior and actions of the Iranian side, as well as Iran’s insufficient response to the consistent and benevolent actions of the other side. It is Azerbaijani!
