Esmaili stated: Iran is cultural in terms of its glorious historical precedent and having a civilization of several thousand years, it accommodates different ethnic groups with different cultures and rituals, and they came together as a single group with a great identity called Iran.
The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said: Iran has a cultural breadth as great as its history. Before having a political nature, cultural Iran is the result of centuries of peaceful coexistence of different peoples, it is not a slogan but an action.
He continued: “Today, we defend cultural diversity and different ethnicities in all international events and world centers and every podium that is available to us, we defend the creation of global culture.”
Esmaili stated: The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolution have adjusted their policies with a respectful view of all cultures and ethnic groups, and we in the Islamic Republic of Iran extend a hand of friendship to all nations. Due to this cultural diversity and the recognition of differences, Iran is the flagship of dialogue.
He clarified: A rainbow of different cultural diversities gathered inside the country, today in Baluchistan and Turkmen Sahara, Khuzestan and Kurdistan and in all different parts of the country, people and different ethnicities adhere to their traditions and under the umbrella of Iranian Islamic identity.
