Iran’s Pumseh Rouhi ascends to the final stage of the global challenge

According to Fars News Agency, in this stage, out of six representatives of the Iranian men’s team, 5 taekwondo fighters reached the final stage.

Ali Nadali in the age group of 31 to 40 years with a score of 7.2 and standing in third place, Davood Rasoulizadeh in the age category of 41 to 50 years with a score of 6.75 and sixth place, Ali Barzegari in the age group of 51 to 60 with a score of 6.87 fourth place, Morteza Esteki in the age group of 61 to 65 with a score of 6.95 and second place and in the innovative pumice over 18 years old Mohammad Amin Gomarian with a score of 6.78 and sixth place reached the final stage.

Meanwhile, in the age group of 18 to 30, Reza Nazari failed to reach the final by gaining the ninth place. Also, Ghorban Delshad had reached the final directly in the age group over 65 due to the number of participants.

In the women’s group, the Iranian team was present with 5 pumice, but Fatemeh Sotoudeh did not participate in this stage due to injury, and four other representatives of our country were able to reach the final round.

Zeinab Toghyani won the first place in the under-30 category with a score of 7.40, as in the preliminary period, and reached the final stage. While Atosa Farahmand in the under 40 age category with a score of 7.07 and fourth, Maryam Behzad in the under 50 age group with a score of 6.85 and fifth, Raha Mirbozorgi in the under 60 age category with a score of 6.15 and Eighth place won the permit to participate in the final stage. Meanwhile, Sakineh Houshangi in the under-65 age group had gone straight to the finals due to the number of participants.

The final of this competition will be held on Sunday, April 12, and 11 representatives of our country in the women’s section “Zeinab Toghyani, Atosa Farahmand, Maryam Behzad, Raha Mirbozorgi and Sakineh Houshangi” and in the men’s section “Davood Rasoulizadeh, Ali Nadali, Ali Barzegari, Morteza Esteki, Mohammad Amin Gavarian and Ghorban Delshad will strive for the most colorful medals.
