Iraqi and US officials consult on ceasefire in Yemen
According to Fars News Agency’s International Service, US Ambassador to Baghdad Matthew Toller met with Iraqi National Security Advisor Qassim Al-Araji.
The two sides discussed the latest political and security developments at the regional and international levels, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation between Baghdad and Washington in all areas, the Al-Araji Information Office said.
According to the website «Al-Sumaria NewsAl-Araji also stressed the importance of seizing the opportunity for a ceasefire in Yemen and creating opportunities for understanding between the Yemeni parties.
The meeting also reviewed the case of Al-Hul border airport and strategies to support Iraq in rebuilding some detention centers.
