Is investing in a villa in the north profitable or not?

According to Tejarat News, the north of the country, as a pleasant and touristic region, has always been considered for buying property and villas. But are there any consequences for non-native investment in the region, and under what conditions will it be successful in general?

Price floor of a villa in the north of the country

One of the market activists in Mazandaran says: the price of a villa in this range starts from 800 to 900 million Tomans. It continues up to five billion.

Another entrepreneur states: Prices have risen compared to before. He also believes that spring and early summer are the best times to buy a property.

Surfing in the north

Mansour Gheibi, a housing market expert, told Tejaratnews: “Real estate transactions in the north of the country can be considered a kind of wave.” Some investors find a continuous presence at a time when the demand for villas in the north increases or in a quarter of the year the demand increases.

The expert continued: “I believe that investment in construction in the north is now out of the hands of the natives of that area.” Investors from different cities of Iran have come there to enjoy this space.

Consequences of non-native investment

Regarding the consequences of non-native investment in the region, Gheibi said: “In recent years, the demand for construction and operation of villas and apartments built in general has increased significantly.” This can raise prices and change indigenous culture.

The expert also said that non-natives should not be encouraged to invest in the north of the country to a great extent, because it will change the urban fabric and destroy the useful lands in the north of the country.

“Excitement may occur in the spring and early summer months,” he concluded. Eventually this type of investment may fall into a golden dream for a long time and investors should proceed with confidence.
