Is Kuwait joining the dull train of compromise?

Since the reconciliation of the two Arab Gulf states, namely the UAE and Bahrain, with the Zionist regime on September 16, 2016, at the behest of former US President Donald Trump at the White House, only two Arab countries, Morocco and Sudan, have boarded the train. They joined reluctantly, although there were some indications that a number of other Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, were joining the line of compromise with the Zionists, which has not been possible so far.
Kuwait, along with Qatar and Oman, have been among the three countries since the compromise between the UAE and the small country of Bahrain, declaring that “Kuwait will never be one of the countries that seeks to normalize relations with Israel for free.”
Exactly five days after the compromise between the Zionist regime and the two countries of the UAE and Bahrain, that is, on September 20, 2016, the then US President Donald Trump, who tried to use this event as a propaganda tool for the presidential election, claimed that in the future Or the other eight countries will join the compromise agreement with Israel, and Kuwait is also interested in this issue.
During a reception at the White House to greet Sheikh Nasser Sabah Ahmad Sabah, the eldest son of the Emir of Kuwait, Trump said that Kuwaitis are passionate about what has happened in the Middle East.
Referring to the compromise between the UAE and Bahrain and Israel (Zionist regime), he stressed that no one thought it would be possible, but like the pieces of the puzzle, it was very easy!
Trump’s claims came at a time when Kuwait has repeatedly opposed any normalization of relations and compromise with the Zionist regime, declaring that it is firm in its usual position in support of the Palestinian cause.
Kuwaiti official and popular circles, after the UAE and Bahrain reconciled with the Zionist regime, repeatedly and in various religions, expressed their opposition to any normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.
In this regard, a number of members of the Kuwaiti parliament, including the speaker of the Kuwaiti parliament, Marzouq al-Ghanem, stressed the need to speed up the adoption of laws related to the Zionist regime’s sanctions and any normalization of relations with it.
Also, 41 out of 50 Kuwaiti representatives strongly stated that their country will continue to adhere to the issue of Palestine as the first issue of the Islamic and Arab ummah.
The Kuwaitis have repeatedly stressed that they will never forget the Zionist regime’s crimes against the Palestinian people and thank their political leaders for their commitment to the Palestinian cause.
The official and popular position of Kuwait regarding the normalization of relations with the occupying regime of Jerusalem was adopted in line with the order of the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh “Sabah Al-Salem” on the defense war against Zionist groups in 1962.
Sheikh Sabah announced at the time that Kuwait would enter into a defensive war with Zionist groups in occupied Palestine from today.
Kuwait has always been one of the main supporters of Palestine, especially in international circles, and the positions of the Emir of Kuwait and Marzouk Al-Ghanem, the Speaker of the Ummah Assembly, have been quite evident in this regard.
According to the law on normalization with the Zionists in Kuwait, no natural or legal person is allowed to have direct or indirect agreement with the delegations and individuals residing in the occupied territories or parties that have any contact with the Zionists in any way.
Although the issue of compromise with the Zionist regime has supporters among some Kuwaiti officials, there are more opponents than supporters.
But Kuwait’s recent arrest of 23 people in the alleged case of “financing Hezbollah in Lebanon” has raised doubts in the media about the change in the attitude of Kuwaiti officials towards establishing relations with the Zionist regime, because this is exactly the way the UAE did in 2009 against Lebanese companies and Lebanese with the same claim.
Kuwait’s national security apparatus arrested an 18-member group in early November this year for alleged links to Hezbollah in Lebanon on charges of recruiting young people to operate in Syria and Yemen and financing Hezbollah forces.
A few days ago, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas, quoting an informed Kuwaiti source, reported the arrest of five other people in the financing case of Hezbollah in Lebanon and announced that with the arrest of these five people, the suspects in the financing case of Hezbollah in Lebanon, a total of 23 People have arrived.
“The Kuwaiti Court of Appeals has ordered the extension of the detention of 12 of the 23 defendants in the case until the 13th of this month,” the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas quoted the source as saying.
The source noted that “investigations are ongoing into other defendants to find out about their relationship with the defendants, but the case is a national security issue.” The new defendants have denied the allegations, saying their role is limited to doing so. It is a charity and they have not funded Hezbollah.
In 2009 and beyond, the UAE closed and confiscated a number of commercial companies allegedly affiliated with and financing the movement; It was from that time that the good service of the UAE officials to the Zionist regime began in public, and the spark of compromise between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv was ignited, and finally eleven years later, on September 16, 2016, it was finalized.
Alarm for Kuwait
As mentioned above, the Kuwaiti people and officials have always supported the Palestinian cause and have pursued it in international and regional forums, but the important point is that the Arab countries are compromising with the Zionist regime. They have not compromised with this regime all at once, but they have taken this path step by step.
As it was announced, the Emirati officials, who were previously opposed to the Zionist regime, but by adjusting their attitudes towards the Zionist regime, as well as adopting opposition to Hezbollah in Lebanon and anti-Zionist resistance, especially Hamas and Islamic Jihad, joined the ranks of compromisers. In the Zionist regime’s 12-day war against the people of Gaza, which ended on May 20, the Emirati authorities, instead of supporting the Palestinians, announced that they were ready to provide any assistance to rebuild the damaged areas of Israel (occupied territories) in this war. Give!
Regional experts believe that the issue of the UAE’s compromise with the Zionist regime could be a wake-up call for Kuwaiti officials, because according to public reports, US officials are putting a lot of pressure on Kuwaiti officials to compromise with the Zionist regime and 23 people may be arrested in the alleged case. “Financing Hezbollah in Lebanon” in Kuwait is the basis for establishing relations between the country and the Zionist regime; Hence, the vigilance of the Kuwaiti authorities in this regard will surely thwart the plans of the enemies of Islam.
