Islamic Jihad: Zionist settlements will not rest until the siege of Gaza

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, “Ziad al-Nakhaleh,” the secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, stressed that the war with the Zionist regime will continue until all the principles of the Palestinian cause are realized.

On the twenty-sixth anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Fathi Shaqaqi, the founder and secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, al-Nakhala said: “Your service, Dr. Fathi and Dr. Ramadan, I say that these (Palestinian fighters) are your sons who will guide you through the difficult path.” They finish and move on without fear and carry your legacy.

Emphasizing that lifting the siege of Gaza is not a matter for negotiation and political ransom, he said: “The siege of Gaza is a clear crime and war against our people over time, and this crime must end irrevocably and without commitment or privilege.”

Al-Nakhala said: “If we are serious about ending the siege, we must link stability in the settlements to stability in Gaza and the end of the siege against it, so that the settlements do not rest until the siege of Gaza is over, and this is the minimum that is considered necessary.”

The Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad Movement said: “Reconstruction of what was destroyed by the aggression in Gaza is the responsibility of all countries that supported the aggression and the countries that remained silent, especially those that have compromised with the enemy or are seeking compromise.”

He added: “We call on the brothers of the Arab countries to fulfill their duties and we will not excuse them from this.” They are responsible, even if they have evaded it on trumped-up charges.

Al-Nakhala stressed: “Once again, we want to prevent the Palestinians from wasting their time and helplessness in the face of attacks on settlements, land confiscation and human rights violations in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.” The time we have lost is enough, we must strengthen its resistance and unity throughout Palestine and fight for our rights and our homeland, or remain slaves and workers in the service of the enemy.

The Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement also addressed the Palestinian prisoners in the Zionist regime: It is not over with the enemy.

He added: “When we have not won yet, how will the war end?” This is a certainty that should not be shaken. How can the war be stopped when freedom has not yet been achieved?

Al-Nakhala, while congratulating the Palestinian prisoners on achieving their rights as a result of the hunger strike, said: “I reiterate that we stand by them in all matters and our most important task on our regular agenda is to free them from captivity.”

At the end of the birthday of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he also congratulated the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nations.
