Issuance of 38 agreements in principle for the establishment of tourism facilities in Gorgan
According to the report of Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Golestan, Rahman Farmani announced this news today, Tuesday, October 11, 2014: “It has been issued in the Technical Investment Commission of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Golestan.”
The head of Gorgan’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department, noting that out of this number of projects, 24 were created and 14 were converted, reminded: “Spaces and buildings, the establishment of facilities and tourism units are implemented based on the patterns and architecture of the area.”
He pointed out that these 38 investment projects in the field of tourism include 19 eco-tourism resorts, 7 traditional restaurants, 4 hotels, 5 tourist entertainment complexes, a tourist area, a traditional accommodation and a guest house unit. “Of this number, tourism projects will create more than 1,610 jobs in the city.”
“The establishment of tourism facilities is aimed at strengthening the accommodation and hospitality infrastructure, creating jobs, reviving culture, indigenous customs, economic prosperity of local communities and familiarizing tourists with historical and natural attractions,” Farmani said.
