According to the correspondent of the Afghanistan site of Fars news agency, Afghan news sources announced that the issuance of passports in this country has resumed after several months of suspension.
According to this report, the day of passport issuance for people who have already filled the online form has started today (Wednesday).
Currently, registration for obtaining a passport and appointment is done through the website, but some applicants say that the website of the passport office is not available or can hardly be opened.
According to the applicants, some of them had registered about a year ago; But so far they have not succeeded in getting passports and their turn is not known.
This is despite the fact that during the past 6 months, the Taliban had announced that the distribution of passports had been stopped due to technical problems.
